Peter CY YAU 丘震宇

Dr. Peter Yau received his DBA at the University of Newcastle, Australia; his dissertation is entitled "An Empirical Study of the Drivers and Impediments in the Adoption of Financial Technology"; by the use of the decomposed theory of planned behavior (DTBP) and the structural equation modeling (SEM), under the supervision of Prof. Leo J. Fredericks. Dr Yau received his MMgt, concentrated in the financial management at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Australia; and BSc (Hons) from the Department of Computer Science at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research is about robotics computer vision and dimensional tracking by using Kalman filter, supervised by Prof. KH Wong.

Peter is currently an Assistant Professor in Computing Science at the University of Glasgow, Singapore. He has joined the editorial board of the Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data as an associate editor; this journal offers substantial new insight including machine and deep learning, knowledge reasoning and discovery. He is a programs evaluator for the Computing Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), received a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award, and was an Amazon AWS Educate Cloud Faculty Ambassador.

His research interests include system engineering, information technology application, financial technology and application, Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, web development, resource planning methodology, entrepreneurship and innovation, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) management.

丘震宇畢業於澳洲紐卡素大學工商管理博士學位,通過分解式計劃行為理論(DTPB)和結構方程模型(SEM),研究中國大陸大灣區對進行金融科技適應度的驅動和障礙因素,他的導師是Leo J. Fredericks教授。丘氏在澳洲麥格理管理學院攻讀金融管理學,並獲得管理碩士學位。丘氏在香港中文大學計算機科學系本科畢業,黃健康教授的指導下,利用卡爾曼濾波(Kalman filter)運算實現機器人視覺的距離追踪。

丘氏目前是格拉斯哥大學(新加坡)計算科學理教授。丘擔任Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data副主編;期刊提供大量包括機器和深度學習、知識推理和發現的新見解。他也是工程技術認證委員會(ABET)的計算認證委員會評估員和亞馬遜 AWS Educate 雲端大使。

他的研究興趣包括系統工程,資訊科技和應用,金融技術和應用,物聯網(IoT),機器人技術,Web網絡開發,資源規劃方法論,創業與創新方法以及中小型企業(SME)管理。
